1. 14-Day Money-Back Guarantee
Every plan — Monthly, Annual, and Lifetime — is backed by a 14-day money-back guarantee. If you are not satisfied for any reason, you may request a full refund within 14 days of your initial purchase, and we will return the amount you paid to your original payment method. There is no free trial; you are charged at checkout, and this guarantee is what protects that purchase.
The guarantee covers plans. The Tax Lien Investing Guide is a separate one-time digital product, not a plan, and is not refundable — see Section 3.
2. How to Request a Refund
Email support@taxliengurus.com from the email address on your account (or simply reply to your payment receipt) within 14 days of your purchase and ask for a refund. You do not need to give a reason.
We process approved refunds promptly through our payment processor, Stripe. Once processed, the funds are returned to your original payment method; depending on your bank or card issuer, it typically takes 5–10 business days for the credit to appear.
3. The Tax Lien Investing Guide — Final Sale
The Tax Lien Investing Guide is a downloadable PDF delivered by email the moment your payment clears. Once it has been downloaded, it is yours permanently — there is no way for us to take it back. For that reason, guide purchases are final and non-refundable. Please be sure you want it before you buy; you are shown this at checkout.
This applies whether you buy the guide on its own or as a member. If a technical problem prevents you from downloading it — a broken or expired link, a file that won't open — that is not a refund matter: email us and we will get you a working copy.
If you refund a plan that included the guide
The guide is included at no extra charge with the Annual and Lifetime plans. If you refund one of those plans under the 14-day guarantee and you have already downloaded the guide, you keep the guide, and we deduct the guide's own price from your refund — you are simply paying for the product you kept.
The amount deducted is the guide's list price at the time of your purchase: $77 during the founding-launch window, $197 after it closes. For example, refunding a $247 founding Annual plan after downloading the guide returns $170.
If you never downloaded the guide, nothing is deducted and your refund is the full amount you paid. Monthly plans do not include the guide, so no deduction ever applies to them.
4. What the Guarantee Covers
The guarantee applies to your initial purchase of any plan. After a refund is issued, your access to Pro features ends. If a guide deduction was applied under Section 3, your license to that guide survives the refund — you paid for it and it remains yours to keep and use under our Terms of Service. If no deduction was applied because you never downloaded it, the guide is no longer licensed to you.
5. After the 14-Day Window
Monthly
You may cancel at any time from your account settings. Cancellation stops future billing and takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you keep access until then. The current month is not refundable after the 14-day window.
Annual
After the 14-day window, the annual term is non-refundable. You keep full access until the term ends. Cancel before your renewal date to prevent the next annual charge.
Lifetime
A Lifetime purchase is refundable only within 14 days of purchase, subject to the guide deduction in Section 3. After that, because it grants permanent access, it is a final, non-refundable one-time purchase.
6. Renewals
The 14-day money-back guarantee applies to your initial purchase, not to subsequent automatic renewals. To avoid a renewal charge on a Monthly or Annual plan, cancel before the renewal date. If a renewal is charged in error, contact us and we will make it right.
7. Founding-Member Pricing
If you hold a founding-member rate and request a refund, your original purchase is refunded normally, less any guide deduction under Section 3. Please note that if you later re-subscribe, you will pay the price then in effect — a refunded founding rate is not guaranteed to be available again.
8. Exceptions
We may decline a refund where there is evidence of fraud, abuse of the guarantee (for example, repeated refund-and-repurchase cycles), or a violation of our Terms of Service. Nothing in this policy limits any rights you have under applicable law.
